What is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is a website that rewards people for doing things like searching using their search engine, shop through their site, complete special offers, take daily polls, trade in (like sending in your old cell phone), refer a friend, or comment on their blog. You can do whatever you prefer to earn your swagbucks.
How does it work?
The way I use it is simple, I do searches or type in a web address I was going to type in anyway-I just do it through Swagbucks (instead of using other search engines)! I made it even easier on myself by installing the swagbucks toolbar (clicking “toolbar” and the top of their site and hitting the “download” button) and I type in the address’ of the pages I am going to type in anyway! It’s that simple. You will see a screen pop up that says “You’ve just earned 10,20,30 etc. swagbucks” after you type in an address or word search. You earn swagbucks at random, there is no magic word or address that will earn you more or less. It’s fun to see the “Congratulations, you’ve just earned swagbucks” pop up.
That’s it…you’re on your way to cashing out for an Amazon ecard or deposit into your paypal account.

I use Ebates whenever I order something online. Ebates is a site that gives you a percentage of your total purchase back to you in the form of a check once a quarter (you’re have to have at least $5.01 for them to send you a check, if not they roll it to the next quarter)! They also offer online coupons IN ADDITION TO your percentage back! This is a no brainer if you order anything online…ever. Also, Ebates has special offers from their partners (stores) where you might get double cash back. For instance, say you want to place an order at Sephora. Well it might usually give you 4% back on your purchase, but as a special promotion it’s now giving you 8% back. To make this even sweeter, you can get free skincare samples by clicking on one of the coupons. Just click the ’shop now’ tab by the coupon you want to use. It will take you to the store’s website and auto track your purchase to calculate your percentage back. Register HERE.

One of my favorite companies is Social Spark. First you will let you see what leads you have available from different advertisers and the amount of money (they use points) they are offering for the post. 500 points =$5.00. Right now I have 2700 points in my account or $27.00.
When you get a lead, and you want to learn more about the advertiser before accepting, you simply click on the description and get the details i.e. if the company requires any links or specific wording before you accept. If the lead is not something you would want to write about on your blog or you’re just simply not interested, no problem, you can decline it. If you are interested you simply click on I’m interested and this lets the advertiser know you would accept the offer. You then may or may not get a ‘offer’. An offer is where the advertiser wants you to place the post on your blog for the amount specified. Offers are typically anywhere from $5-$50. I got a $50 lead today! I hope I didn’t make this too confusing. It’s really quite simple!
Also, spread the word (like I’m doing here) and get 7.5% when you refer 5 people (publishers). You can also earn by referring advertisers! Social Spark pays via Paypal at when you have $50 in your account you can cash out! Want your money a little faster? There’s a 200 point fee if you’d like to cash out before you hit 5000 points.
